  • Invitation to the 2019 World Forum on Early Care and Education

    Special Invitation for Head Start

The World Forum Foundation invites you the 2019 World Forum on Early Care and Education in Macao for a life-changing experience.

“The World Forum was totally awe inspiring. It's the best conference I have ever attended. The WF affected me in ways that I've never experienced before. It was totally brilliant!” — Jill Oliver, New Zealand

At this gathering of 800 early childhood professionals from 80 countries, there will be a special focus on managing large early childhood organizations. During every plenary and breakout session there will be multiple presentations of high interest by leaders of organizations providing early childhood services in multiple locations on topics such as organizational culture, developing leaders, managing growth, future trends, brain development, and maintaining consistent quality.

In addition, there will be many opportunities to socialize with your peers from North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia/Pacific. Make valuable connections in receptions, breakfasts, lunches and dinners.

Now here is the icing on the cake: at the 2019 World Forum there will also be a special focus on “Start” programs.

Organizations around the world that have embraced the Head Start model will be gathering to compare notes and develop ongoing connections.

Learn more about the 2019 World Forum and register.

Please note that there is a special discount for all NHSA members. Additionally, an anonymous donor has committed to cover much of the registration fees for the first five Head Start teachers and education coordinators to register.

If you are a NHSA member and would like to use the discount, email jskudlarek@nhsa.org for the discount code.
  • Welcome to Communities!

Communities of Practice were established at the 2017 Parent & Family Engagement Conference and now, they are online*! These communities serve as a safe space for members to share experiences, facilitate idea sharing, and resources through engagement among a national network of Head Start colleagues. This is a NHSA Member-Only benefit for Head Start programs and staff.

*Currently the only communities available online are for Directors and New Directors. Please stay tuned for additional Communities to come online through the remainder of 2018.
